Travelling from outside the EUWe want every player to feel cared for and fully prepared. Estonia is part of the Schengen area, so most players travel visa-free. If you do need a visa, we will help you personally and provide an official invitation letter. Questions? Email info@yolosquash.ee.
Estonia follows the same Schengen rules as the rest of the area. You can stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period for a sports event.
You are a citizen of an EU/EEA country or Switzerland; a citizen of a visa-free country (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, Singapore, UAE, Ukraine, Serbia, Georgia and around 60 others); or you hold a valid Schengen visa or residence permit from another Schengen country.
Your nationality is not on the visa-free list. This covers most players from India, China, and many countries in Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. You will need a short-stay Schengen (Type C) visa for the purpose of a sports event.
Even if you are visa-free, the EU is introducing ETIAS — a simple online travel authorisation (about €20) you complete before you travel. Check the official ETIAS site closer to your travel date to see if it applies to your trip.

Fill in the official Estonian application at eelviisataotlus.vm.ee (choose “Schengen visa (C-visa)”). Print it and sign it.
Apply at the nearest Estonian embassy/consulate or visa centre. Where Estonia has no mission, another Schengen country (e.g. Finland or Latvia) handles it.
Every applicant, including each child, needs their own appointment and must attend in person. Biometrics (fingerprints) are collected.
Bring your documents (see Step 4), pay the fee and submit. Then track your application and collect your passport when ready.
Tip: do not buy your flight tickets before the visa is approved — a booking or reservation is enough at the application stage.

Issued within the last 10 years, valid at least 3 months after your return date, with at least two blank pages.
Completed and signed form, plus one colour photo (35 × 45 mm, white background, no older than 6 months, no glasses).
Valid across the Schengen area, minimum cover €30,000, for your entire stay.
Hotel booking for your dates in Estonia. We can recommend the official tournament hotel.
Return flight booking/itinerary (reservation, not paid yet) and bank statements for the last 3 months (about €70 per day).

Apostilled birth certificate and parental consent/custody documents, plus a signed consent form if the child travels without a parent.

Please make sure you have: 1. registered and been accepted for the event; 2. paid your entry fee in full (letters are only issued after payment); and 3. sent us the information listed here.

Players from Russia and Belarus: Estonia has effectively suspended visas for tourism and amateur sport for Russian and Belarusian citizens, so a visa for this event is very unlikely to be granted. If this affects you, please contact us before registering and we will advise on your options.
To keep your trip stress-free, we suggest this schedule. Summer is the busiest season at consulates, so the earlier you start, the better.
